Pride Places is THE site dedicated to truly bridge the gap between LGBTQ consumers and the businesses who actually support us across the entire United States. Consumers, discover some of the best-hidden gems, big and small. While businesses connect with our community on a whole new level and play a role in keeping our community thriving.
How might we build an interactive place for the LGBTQIA+ Community that is inclusive, provides an abundance of resources, and cultivates a place of belonging.
The Innovations Team previously had done extensive research on the lifestyles, struggles, and needs of the LGBTQ+ community. One large insight from this research was the glaring difficulty in finding relevant, reliable help and resources and the absence of a safe singular platform for socializing. For this current round of research, we wanted to understand users’ preferences, frustrations, and challenges with our concepts in order to determine the future direction of Pride Place’s core product.
Given the results from our user research we collaborated with marketing and engineering to develop a product road map. We are currently in the process of designing task flows, wireframes. Please contact me to discuss this Product in more detail.
